This October, Footprints marks the 20th anniversary of its premiere online. All fall long, we’ll be celebrating both on the page and behind the scenes…
A Legacy in Danger: With the building that houses Bill’s restaurant, Harbor Boulevard, set to be sold, Matt, Sarah, and Paula are desperate to save the late patriarch’s business. This story will slam unexpectedly into another plotline, causing complications that none of these people could’ve seen coming — and it will provide the backdrop for a major event that brings King’s Bay (and some special visitors!) together during the month of October.
Love and War: Jason and Natalie are elated by their new engagement, but their path will be far from smooth-sailing. Predictably, Helen has plenty to say… but, this time, she also might have a secret weapon up her sleeve. Natalie is on-edge when news spreads that Spencer is out of his coma. Is she about to be blown sky-high? Meanwhile, Travis finally confronts Rosie about her furtive behavior, and two other couples take major steps forward in their relationships.
Sins of the Mother: The secret that Diane tricked Tim in order to become pregnant with Samantha dates back to the very first episodes of the series, and now the truth is out. Samantha’s world has been utterly rocked by this reveal, and she has serious questions for both of her parents. Tempest, who thought she was doing something good by exposing Diane’s true character to her girlfriend, realizes the error of her ways — but will it be too late for her and Samantha?
Bits and Pieces: Molly takes a bold step in her professional life… Nicole Scherzinger begins “portraying” the new role of Sonja, a nurse whose presence might be more intentional than she initially lets on… Danielle receives shocking news.
Reflections: In October, we’ll release a “remixed” version of the series’s very first episode, rewritten in the present-day style. Throughout the month, a series of behind-the-scenes features and interviews will also turn the spotlight on the creative process, including highs and lows from the entire past two decades.
This all sounds good !!
Sonja seems like she might be a fun character.
Also I cannot wait until for the behind the scenes and interviews.
Sonja will definitely shake up a few things. I always love bringing in that sort of character.
And I love doing the behind-the-scenes features! I have to get moving so stuff is ready for October.
I can’t wait to see these new episodes of the first episodes that you are re-writing! What a neat idea for the 20th anniversary!
