SUMMARY
Trevor went away for college and stayed gone for years. After a long period of little communication with his family, he returned to King’s Bay and renewed their bond with Lauren. He also admitted to her that he had let his education lag in favor of pursuing a modeling career. Trevor became romantically involved with Lauren’s friend, Alex Marshall, but Trevor was blackmailed by a porn producer named Cliff Burkett, for whom Trevor had done some movies years earlier. In his desperation to keep his adult film career a secret, Trevor pushed Alex toward his ex, Seth Ashby. The truth eventually came out, but Trevor and Alex had grown apart, and in 2008, Trevor accepted a modeling engagement in Europe.
In 2012, he returned to King’s Bay for his sister’s wedding to Josh Taylor. He and Alex reunited and immediately slept together — and Alex was shocked when Trevor’s fiance, Liam, showed up to join him for the wedding. Alex kept quiet about their liaison, but Trevor began to waffle about going through with the wedding. Meanwhile, Alex partnered with screenwriter Liam to adapt his novel into a film script. The night before the wedding, Trevor confessed his love to Alex, who insisted nothing could happen between them now. Trevor called off the wedding, and a devastated Liam returned to England with his family. Afterward, Trevor focused on his expanding role at the corporate headquarters of Objection Designs.
Alex dated Cameron Kelley, who was murdered by the Footprint Killer — and the next victim was Trevor’s own mother, Roz. The tragedies drew Trevor and Alex back together, and they reunited. When Diane Bishop suggested that the couple adopt Yvette Banks’s unborn child, Trevor didn’t feel ready to start a family, and he was upset when Alex continued to pursue the idea, even meeting with Yvette. However, Yvette died from complications suffered in a car accident, and Trevor did some soul-searching that led hm to agree with Alex that they should adopt her baby boy. Despite initial resistance from the baby’s half-sister, Tempest, Trevor and Alex adopted the child and named him Chase. Months later, they married in a backyard ceremony, surrounded by family and friends.
Trevor was disturbed when Alex and Jason were set up to look as if they’d slept together, though Alex had a blood test proving that he’d been drugged — ostensibly to set Jason up to lose the custody suit in which he was involved. Trevor and Alex worked through their trust issues and kept their marriage on-track.
