SUMMARY

Diane roped her coworker and friend, Brian, into her schemes to win Tim Fisher. During this time, Brian briefly dated Tim’s sister, Molly. However, after Diane lost custody of her daughter with Tim, she left town to take a job in Los Angeles. Brian followed, but he returned to King’s Bay several years later after Diane did the same. He resisted becoming Diane’s ‘lackey’ again as best he could. Brian dated and nearly became engaged to figure skater Kelsey Barker, but after he had a one-night stand with Diane, Kelsey ended things with him. Brian finally admitted to having feelings for Diane, but she did not reciprocate. He also developed a friendship with wealthy widow Katherine Fitch Moriani after she bid on him at a bachelor auction. In 2008, Brian decided to leave King’s Bay again to forge a new beginning — but on his way out of town, he ran into an ex-flame, author Serena Scott. They reconnected and began a relationship offscreen.

Brian visited for a fundraiser thrown in memory of Courtney Chase Fisher in 2012, and he checked in with Diane in 2017 when she found herself in (yet more) turmoil. He returned to King’s Bay in 2022 to lend support when Diane’s daughter, Samantha, lapsed into a coma. During this time, it came out that he and Kelsey had recently eloped, as they were expecting a child together.
