Daily Episodes Coming Soon!
During the week of August 13-17, Footprints will post daily episodes — that’s one episode every day from Monday to Friday, as Jason and Natalie’s long-awaited wedding takes center stage. Episode 929 will post the week of July 30, followed by Episode 930 the week of August 6, before the daily episodes (931-935) arrive on Monday the 13th.
Casting Updates
Jasmine Knight (portrayed by Paige Searcy): This classmate of Caleb, Christian, and Bree at King’s Bay Academy first appeared in Episode 925. She will continue to recur as Caleb becomes more involved with her in the upcoming months.
Henry and Claudia Bishop (Tristan Rogers and Louise Sorel): The haughty parents of Diane and Natalie, who first appeared at the end of 2017, return for an extended stint beginning in early August.
Jacqueline “Jaq” Pearson (Bex Taylor-Klaus): Jaq, who works at the KBAY radio station with Diane, will make her first appearance this fall in a recurring role.
TBA Character (Madelaine Petsch): The still-unspecified character, who has ties to at least one person in King’s Bay, will also arrive this fall and play a substantial part in a major storyline.
Danielle Taylor (Kelly Rowan): Long-running character Danielle, whose struggle with alcoholism and on/off relationship with Ryan Moriani provided fodder for years of frontburner story, will make her exit before the end of 2018. Though her exit was originally planned for earlier, it was decided that Danielle’s presence would be needed for events coming this fall, after which she will depart King’s Bay.
So not only did OITNB just drop a new season, we get daily episodes the week after my dirty thirty. 🙌🏻
Honestly, it looks like you’ve got a lot loaded into this breakfast burrito Michael! I can’t wait to see how everything turns out. At first, I was surprised to read very little about the build-up for this wedding. But I remembered reading a couple episodes back about Jason’s reservations he had considering how his and Courtney’s went. I have a feeling because of the last episode that Helen may be swayed to keep a secret. Although there is bound to be trouble w/ Natalie’s dotting parents arrival and the love that’s Diane has for them!!
Speaking of Diane, I’m totally in love w/ who you casted as her co-worker at KBay Radio. Although, in my head I’ve already typecasted her and I feel like you may have a certain mid-twenties fall romance planned? Just my pondering. I can’t wait to see if I’m right!
Oh! & I love me some feisty redheads. It’s like, a weak spot for me. I don’t know who miss Petsch is playing. But please let us know soon!!!

I definitely jumped ahead in time a little so that the wedding can be “tomorrow.” I realized all the pieces were in place, so it was time to get to the meat of the drama. There have been a few scenes about Jason’s reservations about having another wedding day, in light of what happened on the last one, and some of the conflict between him and Natalie because of the extravagance she wanted. But basically, yeah, the bulk of the story is what happens now.
The Bishop parents’ reappearance will spin off into a new story thread, which I’m really excited to tell. Diane has been pretty backburner the past six months. And you might be onto something re: her new coworker. 😉
The arrival of the character being represented by Madelaine Petsch should be fun — it’s kind of random and turns an existing story in a new direction. Hoping we get to that soon!
